Pakistan monitors 7 million e-mail users

The Pakistani government has admitted it regularly monitors more than seven million e-mail users in the nation.

Pakistani newspapers reported Saturday the government said it keeps logs of all Internet users for at least a month.

Men who were told to 'gang rape' acquitted

Five men who were sentenced to death for gang raping a woman on the orders of a village council are set to walk out of jail after a Pakistani high court acquitted them yesterday.
